Your health and wellbeing are our number one priority. Please inform us at the start of your appointment if you have any change in:

  • health conditions;
  • are using any new or different medications;
  • have made changes to your skincare (particularly if the skincare product has vitamin A or retinol);
  • are feeling unwell.

These changes, no matter how small (even simply changing eye cream) can all affect the outcome of your treatment at White Sage.

Treatment Policy

White Sage tailors all treatments to your skin at the start of each session. If we do not think that the treatment you have requested will be successful, we may not be able to provide that service to you.

Additionally, White Sage takes no responsibility for the outcome of your treatment if you have not notified us of any contraindications prior to your treatment.

Cancellations

We request a minimum of 24 hours-notice for cancelling or rescheduling of appointments. Our therapists want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our clients. When a client does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another client loses the opportunity to use our services. In this regard, No-shows or appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

This also applies to drastic appointment changes on the service you are booked in for – for example if you are booked in for a long service and you change your mind and would only like a short treatment, you must let us know 24 hours prior to your appointment time.

Gift Your Space

We know that sometimes things out of our control can happen in life which can result to you not being able to make your appointment with us and leaving no other option but to cancel which can be some times within our required cancellation time frame. It is for this very reason that we put together our “Gift your space” initiative to help with this issue and to minimise the impact that late cancelling can have on a small business but to also to wave the late cancellation fee for you our client!

The initiative works by simply contacting us when you cannot make your appointment within our 24hour cancellation window and letting us know that you would like to participate in the “gift your space” initiative we will then send you a pre composed message that you can copy and paste to send to a group of friends or family to take your place for your scheduled appointment with a bonus 10% off their treatment. If you are successful in filling your space you will also receive a $10 voucher off your next service with us making this a fantastic and fun alternative to paying a late cancel fee!

The other method could apply is “Pay it forward” to a friend or family member who may be in need for some pampering and pay for the appointment still but they come in your place!

Visiting White Sage without an appointment

We love visitors at the salon however, as White Sage works by appointment only, we ask that you contact us prior to dropping by. If you are wanting to purchase products or a gift voucher please contact us first so that we can arrange a suitable time.

Confirming your appointment

All clients are sent an SMS/Email the day prior to their appointment.  You will also receive an email confirmation upon making an appointment when using our Online booking System. Please note the SMS and Email feature will not allow you to respond, therefore if you need to change your appointment time or have any further queries please contact the White Sage directly.

If you are running late for an appointment

We prefer that all clients arrive on time for their appointment. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, we may deem it necessary to reschedule your appointment as this will impact the timing of your appointment and our following scheduled appointments. You may also incur a 50% cancellation fee if we need to cancel your appointment without notice.

Stairs and accessibility:

White Sage is located in a gorgeous heritage building that has some treatment rooms upstairs. If you are unable to use stairs, please let us know when booking and we will ensure the downstairs treatment room is made available. Please make a note on your booking or send us an SMS to confirm that we have received your request.

Parking:

We are very lucky to have 2-hour free parking on Church Street where we are located.
